Many thanks to Belen Goju Ryu for hosting another great tournament. The Longs host a well organized tournament. It is one of the most affordable around and they still manage to fund a scholarship in memory of their daughter who was killed in Afghanistan. Plan to go next year. It’s great!

This was one of the biggest promotions of black belts in a long time. Congratulations to all the participants. In particular:

and the “Magnificent 7”. Who all achieved their 1st degree Black Belt.
