Great testing last week! Some interesting topics covered. Congratulations on all those new belts. The progress has been impressive. This is a good time for students to take a moment to reflect on where they started and what they have achieved. Then, lets get to work again!
Kudos to all that tested at Master Watson’s school in Farmington this weekend. Special recognition goes to the new Brown Belts and especially the new Black Belts. Congratulations!
Kim’s in Albuquerque will be closed Wednesday thru Saturday so everyone can spend some time with their families.

Albuquerque testing is this Saturday. To those testing: Get ready to give it your all and show what you’ve got! To everyone else: Come support your family and classmates. Then, don’t miss the holiday party afterward!

Belen Goju Ryu held another great tournament this year (pics here). Many thanks to all the contestants. Kim’s did very well, taking 26 first place trophies. Special recognition to the kids and juniors for sweeping the 3 youth grand champion categories. Gloriana took adult colored belt GC. Keana transitioned to the adult division and won her first swords!
